Grey Street urban park is situated in the middle of bustling Lambton Quay in the Wellington CBD.

Wellington City Council designed a new landscape for the park, with the aim of decluttering the area and creating an inviting, people-friendly space for both day and night.

S&T Lighting were brought in to enhance the new landscape features. The seating spaces were draped in pools of light and the water feature and Braille Artwork ‘Invisible City’ by Anton Parsons were integrated in a consistent lighting scheme.
Grey Street Park received a commendation in Lighting Design at the IESANZ New Zealand Chapter Awards in 2021.
